Lakme India Fashion Week – A Review

India is becoming the modern style hub for fashionistas. Indian designers are now not confined to the home style and apparel marketplace; they may be gaining recognition and reputation worldwide. Nalanda Bhandari

Nalanda Bhandari designs an easy yet appealing and wearable collection below the emblem Nasha.’ She named her spring/summer time 2007 collection ‘Free Spirit.’ She covered all patterns and sorts of present-day girls’ apparel. Dress patterns like- tunics, kaftans, tube get-dressed skirts, shirts, and burnt gold evening robes ruled her display. She performed with glamorous clad fabrics like chiffon, silk, georgette, voile, cotton, and crepe. Her collection became largely governed via animal prints and embroideries like African embroidery, sequin embroidery, etc. She also presented her guy’s series. The famous clothier Narendra Kumar provided his spring/summer collection 2007 at Lakme Fashion Week. Sanchita’s series offered in Lakme Fashion Week turned into formidable but wearable. She divided her series into three segments- Punk elegant, Copacabana, and Swinging Deco. The stunning clothier pieces of bikinis and pareos, Hawaiian-inspired kaftans, small balloon skirts, floaty clothes, and minis furnished the seashores’ sensation Copacabana, St. Tropez, and Riviera to the target market. Her series became quite glamorous, including gray T-shirts with silver leggings, lycra T-shirts with sleeve ornamentations, and strapless clothes accompanied by necklaces, jewelry, and brooches.

This clothier emphasized the consolation component of the garments heavily. Savio Jon is well known for his simple yet attractive clothing, strains excessively on cost, and seductive quotient. Unlike designers, he favored his clothes to grasp loose around the frame instead of body-hugging/tight-fitting garments. He used unfastened flowing fabrics like fishnet, mail, chiffon, georgette, and crepe.

Payal Singhal, for the first time, supplied her series in Lakme Fashion Week. Her clothes series for girls has been designed to maintain present-day working women’s needs and comfort levels. Stylish but inexpensive was the key detail related to her collection. She beautifully used cutwork, satin, georgette, jacquard, tulle, cotton, crepe, taffeta, brocade, and seersucker in membership and partywear for attire and tunics. Her display of outfits on-ramp descended gracefully from daywear to glamorous nighttime wear. She started showcasing designs in oyster white color, then tea rose, yellow, espresso, watermelon, and grapefruit colors. Display of tunics and blousons were coupled with melon, gold, or silver tights. The signature outfit was the oyster-white kaftan adorned with golden embroidery.
